Ruth Garnault management in conjunction with Blaenau Gwent CBC commissioned stories and training to investigate the use of storytelling in the development of basic skills.
Stories from schools in Norfolk and Monmouthshire
Class 5BK at Hethersett VC Junior School got their Christmas artwork dancing to music in a short animated film.
Whilst in the Spring, three schools in Monmouthshire came up with fabulous fantastical stories thanks to Monmouthshire Libraries' participation in the Read a Million Words boys' literacy scheme.

Cardiff Parent Network's big finale
Cardiff Parent Network hired Cardiff Football Stadium's conference suite to screen the 10 stories made over the past year.
Made in Roath festival
The Made in Roath arts festival 2010 took place on 15th - 17th October.
Four short films made specially for the festival were shown during the closing ceremonies.

Accredited ArtsMark partner
Creative Arts Support Team (CAST) from Cardiff's Schools and Lifelong Learning Service have accredited Katrina Kirkwood as an ArtsMark partner following her work in numerous different schools in Cardiff and the Valleys.
Cardiff Parents Network commission
Cardiff Parent's Network have commissioned ten digital stories from people parenting under different circumstances. The ten stories will work together to create a “Big Picture” of parenting in the city.
Screening of Treorchy Tales
The digital stories made by the Year 6s of Treorchy Primary School with members of the Treorchy Male Choir were screened on 9th July.
Six Bells Colliery disaster memorial screening
17 digital stories made in conjunction with Breaking Barriers Community Arts and the Six Bells Community First team were screened on 28th June as part of the 50th anniversary commemorations of the 1960 colliery disaster.
Wattstown Workmen's Institute Centenary screening
A 30 minute film in which stories collected from local people were linked with the help of local primary school-children was funded by the Ynyshir and Wattstown Communities First team. It was screened on 10th June at the centenary celebrations of the newly renovated Working Men's Institute in Wattstown.
